Niculae Havrileţ resigned form Romgaz board

Niculae Havrileţ has resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Romgaz, starting December 9, the company announced. He also resigned the mandate held at Electrica on December 10, according to a previous statement, following the appointment as Secretary of State within the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment.

Niculae Havrileţ has over 35 years of experience in the field of electricity and of natural gas, of which 20 years in management positions. Graduate of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Niculae Havrileț has a wealth of experience in central public administration. Thus, between June 2012 – October 2017, he held the position of President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), period in which was also a member of the Board of Regulators of the Agency for Cooperation of Energy Regulatory Authorities (ACER) and as well a member of the General Assembly of the Council of European Regulators in the field of Energy (CEER).
