On 25th–26th October, the crème de la crème of the oil and gas industry and representatives of the upstream and midstream oil and gas projects will meet at Intercontinental Hotel to discuss the development of their operations and address the key challenges which affect the progress of their projects.

apImportant operators such as: Black Sea Oil and Gas, Lukoil Overseas, Mazarine Energy and Ukrgasvydobuvannya will announce the status of their onshore and offshore operations and key collaboration opportunities.

Aleksandrs Popovics, Senior Petroleum Economist at Wood Mackenzie considers that “much of the Black Sea basin remains less explored than other strategic areas in Europe. Most exploration to date has focused on the shallow water areas but the 2012 Domino field discovery in Romania proved potential of the deep water. There are a number of factors that impede upstream development of the Black Sea, most notably taxation and political instability, challenging monetization options and a small service sector”.

The key gas infrastructure projects, interconnectors, underground storage and subsea pipeline laying projects will be announce by the CEOs of the regional transmission systems operators such as – Transgaz, Ukrtransgaz and pipeline consortiums like TANAP.

This is the leading annual event for the Black Sea states (Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine). The program will feature a two-day conference which includes presentations, three roundtable discussions with operators, a technical day and an extraordinary Gala Dinner, plus the opportunity to organize face to face meetings with all attendees of the event.

The conference is supported by – Ercyas Steel Pipes, Borusan Mannesmann, Expert Petroleum, Management Force Group, ERM, Catoni, DNV GL, Corinth Pipeworks and OSIsoft.

Registrations are still open until 23rd October. For more information about the speakers and program please visit the website.
