A consortium led by UK-based Mott MacDonald has started drawing the design of a 160 km long South Gas Interconnector Bosnia – Croatia, Bosnian gas supplier BH-Gas said on Monday. The interconnection is the longest projected gas route in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH-Gas said, according to SeeNews.

The pipeline will link Zagvozd, in southern Croatia, to Posusje and Travnik in Bosnia, with a branch to Mostar.

The planner has carried out a geodetic survey of the corridor of the gas pipeline, as well as mapping part of the route starting from Novi Travnik. It uses drones to precisely determine the route and the meeting points of the pipeline from both sides of the Bosnian-Croatian border.
