MOL Romania and the Children’s Heart Association sponsor the endowment of the Emergency County Hospital in Giurgiu with medical equipment worth 110,000 euro, an initiative that will ensure an increased level of care and an additional chance for the patients in serious condition.

“We are excited to be able to support another health project that responds to the real needs of the community. The endowment of Giurgiu County Hospital with these modern equipments will help to increase the level of medical care. Throughout its 25 years of activity in Romania, MOL has taken on the mission not only to contribute to the economy of the communities where it operates and to provide jobs, but also to get involved in other important aspects of the communities’ lives, as is health. MOL Romania has had several successful collaborations with the Children’s Heart Association, so we are happy to be partners again in a project that directly and efficiently contributes to a better life for the community,” said Camelia Ene, CEO & Country Chairman of MOL Romania.

In this project, the pediatric and neonatology departments, as well as the anesthesia and intensive care (ATI) section will be equipped with new equipment.

The donation to Giurgiu County Emergency Hospital follows two other major initiatives to support the health system carried out by MOL Romania last year: the project to construct the Marie Curie Hospital heliport in Bucharest and the donation of medical equipment to the Miercurea Ciuc County Emergency Hospital.
