Today, we are experiencing the next great inflection point in technology’s history – one characterized by the intersection of unfathomable amounts of data from the analog world and the vast amounts of digitally stored data to generate a new level of understanding about the world around us. It is this revolution that is laying the foundation for new categories like autonomous driving, robotic manufacturing and artificial intelligence, as well as a new world of technologies not yet realized.

For businesses of all sizes, data is the foundation of such revolutionary changes. And the businesses that are able to efficiently capture data, extract knowledge from it and creatively turn that knowledge into value-driving innovation will be able to produce critical business outcomes. The possibility to transform business and unlock innovation by marrying data-driven insights with creativity and imagination has never been greater.

But it’s complicated. Organizations’ apps and data live on multiple platforms from the data center to the cloud to the edge of the network. This is what we mean when we say “the world is hybrid.” And while enterprises didn’t plan for a hybrid IT world, it’s here to stay.

To operate in this new reality, enterprises must:

  • Optimize their traditional IT infrastructure with a secure, flexible hybrid IT approach that seamlessly brings together their core and cloud assets;
  • Turn on their intelligent edge – the places where the “action” is, whether that’s on the factory floor or in a retail store – to begin capturing and processing data;
  • HPE GreenLake is HPE’s “as-a-service” brand, which provides IT infrastructure, workloads, and hybrid cloud services in a consumption-based model. Customers can choose from a broad range of workloads, from preconfigured to fully customizable, all in a pay-per-use model, metered and managed by HPE Pointnext Services. Examples of the types of workloads that are offered within HPE GreenLake include: Compute, Storage, Containers, Virtual Machines, Big Data, Backup, Database, Hybrid Cloud and others; and
  • Drive this transformation with a partner who can bring the services expertise they need.

So these are the areas we’re focused on for the Romanian market and this is where we’ve been making the investment to bring new solutions to market to address these needs and help organizations take advantage of the opportunities today’s data and apps present.
