Hidroelectrica sued the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) by demanding the annulment of the decision by which the institution determined the amount of electricity that Hidroelectrica is obliged to deliver this year on the regulated market, as well as its sale prices. Thus, the hydro power producer recently attacked in administrative litigation the February ANRE decision “on the setting of regulated prices for electricity delivered and the quantities of electricity sold under regulated contracts between 1 March 2019 and 31 December 2019” by Hidroelectrica, demanding its cancellation, according to profit.ro.

GEO 114 obliges some energy producers “to supply to the suppliers of last resort, between March 1, 2019 – February 28, 2022, the electricity needed to ensure the consumption of household customers for which they apply regulated tariffs, according to the regulations developed by ANRE”.
