Hidroelectrica wants to acquire specialized consulting, assistance, evaluation and intermediation services for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of CEZ Romania and ENEL Romania groups, according to a document published on SEAP. The total value of the consulting contract is of 10 million euros, the maximum amount.

It seems that the amount offered by Hidroelectrica for these services is so high due to the complexity of the process, said sources quoted by financialintelligence.ro, who claim that the services cover the entire process, from the start of the acquisition process to the integration of assets in Hidroelectrica, a procedure that may take several years.

The contract duration is of 18 months with the possibility of extension depending on the duration of the acquisition process of the mentioned companies. Hidroelectrica will be able to request the modification of these deadlines for carrying out tasks according to the legislative changes that may occur or for any other justified reasons.
