The Regional Energy Forum for Central and Eastern Europe – FOREN 2020, organized with the support of the World Energy Council, is postponed to September, CNR-CME announced.

The Forum is in its 15th edition and is already considered a scientific event with a strong tradition and a remarkable reputation in the field of energy. For the energy community in Romania, the Forum is the most important and representative event in the field.

The circumstances created by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, the global uncertainty about when the health crisis will end and the questions of the exhibitors and partners led the CNR-CME Board of Directors to conclude that the energy sector will not be able to fully participate and, therefore, it will postpone the deployment of FOREN 2020 for the period 6 – 10 September 2020.

As a result of the delay of the period of the forum, the new deadline for registration of works has been extended for April 30, 2020.
