The Budapest LNG Summit is a niche event focused on the up and coming LNG region of Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).
The purpose of the Summit is to create an exclusive, high-level forum for the region’s top leaders from 20 countries, enabling them to network, explore and consider the medium and long-term prospects for the LNG business in CEE.
The Summit’s main focus is to connect regional CEE demand with the international supply chain, while also sharing insights and perspectives from the sector as well as discussing the region’s key LNG-related issues.
The transition of the global LNG market and the simultaneous development of trans-European energy infrastructure are creating new opportunities for both LNG purchasers and suppliers.
Due to the efforts of European policymakers, regulators and private investors the CEE region is becoming ever-more connected to new international gas routes and sources.
At what price is it worth supplying the countries in the region with LNG? How are traditional suppliers responding? What are the effects upon gas supply contracts? These are just a few of the questions to be answered at the Budapest LNG Summit on 16-17 October.
