Energy Storage – more than a promise (EBC, January 23)

23 Jan 2018 @ 08:00 - 13:00

Tuesday, on January 23rd, from 8:30 am at Cesianu Racoviţă Palace, in Bucharest, energynomics.ro invites you to the first informal Energy Breakfast Club meeting this year, dedicated to experts and decision makers in the energy industry: Energy Storage – more than a promise. The impossibility of power storage is the crucial aspect fro how the national energy systems and the electricity markets have been designed and operated. Gradually, however, new technical solutions add up for an ever-renewed promise – energy available for system operators, as well as for end-users. Join the Energy Breakfast Club to discover how energy storage changes the rules of the game and makes the energy systems more environmentally friendly and more flexible.! [formularEveniment] a

THEMES

We will invite over 50 experts from the energy sector, mainly representatives of Romania’s most active companies in the automation and IT sector, as well as representatives of professional associations in the field.

Individually, small-capacity kitts are already on the market and are competing for homes or electric vehicles. Along with renewable (solar or wind) production systems, batteries are already scalable solutions that can be effective in some contexts. Energy Breakfast Club is the place to discover how energy grids also benefit from storage technologies: either from high-capacity storage, frequency control services or other support services for transmission and distribution networks.

  • Storage systems – the present state of development
  • Installation costs for various storage systems
  • Beneficiaries: end users, energy producers from conventional or renewable resources, system operators
  • Tested and accessible energy storage solutions for known issues

Among the invited organisations there are Aderro GP Energy, AFEER, CEZ, Electrica, Delgaz Grid, Elsaco Energy, Enel România, Roland Berger, TEB Energy, Telekom, Tractebel Engineering, Schneider România, Adrem Invest, Veolia, Energobit, Electromagnetica, Philips, GE.
