The Mehedinti Court has ruled in favor of Euro Insol, the liquidator of the Autonomous Administration for Nuclear Activities (RAAN), in the dispute with the Confort S.A. company, through which the latter had requested the amount of 663.783.220 lei from RAAN R.A. The amount represents 35% of total debt that administration has to the creditors at the time of opening of the insolvency proceedings, in September 2013, according to a press release of Euro Insol.

“By removing from the list of creditors the amount of 663.783.220 lei, the chances that the other creditors of RAAN R.A. will recover the debts increase. Among those entitled to recover claims are the RAAN employees, Complexul Energetic Oltenia, the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Problems-Territorial Unit 515 Bucharest, ANAF, Exim Bank, Garanti Bank, Banca Transilvania, CEC Bank, Marfin Bank Romania”, said the representative of the judicial liquidator Euro Insol, Adrian Munteanu.

Euro INSOL has become a civil party on behalf of RAAN R.A. with the amount of 23 million lei, in a criminal case investigated by DIICOT Drobeta-Turnu Severin. The damage is the performance guarantee that has been transferred to Confort S.A., in an agreement that had to be completed in 2012, throughout which the company from Timisoara pledged to provide, to install and to put into operation a drain installation “in dense slurry” for the Romag Thermo Branch, shows the release.

Being under bankruptcy proceedings, RAAN R.A. provides heating for the 2016-2017 winter for Drobeta-Turnu Severin, after the Alfa Ground Solutions company, which had been designated to build the gas central heating for the city, has not completed the investment.

Last week, a court of the County Court suspended the effects of the sentence pronounced by the Drobeta Turnu Severin Court, in favor of Complexul Energetic Oltenia (CEO), throughout which RAAN would have been enforced for the amount of 125,7 million lei.
