ENGIE Romania supports vulnerable people with free home repairs services

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, ENGIE Romania supports vulnerable people over the age of 65, from Bucharest, who need urgent repairs of household appliances or sanitary facilities. During the period of emergency, the beneficiaries, persons over 65 years, without supporters or other form of aid, selected by the Social Assistance Directorate of the municipality of Bucharest, will benefit from a wide range of repairs services.

The teams of technicians who will carry out the work are employees of the subsidiary ENGIE Services, a leader in the energy services market, or are part of the network Ajusto.ro, an online platform of craftsmen of ENGIE Romania, which offers services for home. The Ajusto.ro team will provide the interface with the representatives of the Social Assistance Directorate of the Bucharest municipality by dispatching the orders to the technicians, as well as monitoring all the works performed.

The teams will provide free services that have been identified as urgent, such as: home appliances reapirs (refrigerator, oven, hob, stove or washing machine), gas cooker installation (gas cooker, gas hob (without cutting in countertop), gas oven), repairs of plumbing (flexible fitting replacement, replacement of cracked faucets, repair of water leaks, replacement of cracked pipes at home, replacement of sinks/ tub leaks, repair of faulty toilets), repair of faucet for washing machines, electric boilers, electric ovens, electric hobs (without cutting into the countertop).

The team of specialists that will provide the services at the beneficiary’s home will comply with the recommended protective measures, namely those of wearing masks, gloves and protective shoes, as well as the recommendations in force regarding the social distance imposed by authorities and specialists and disinfection of the hands, after each intervention.

Eligible beneficiaries are persons over 65 years of age, without assistants or any other form of assistance, with their domicile in Bucharest.
