Enel X Romania, part of Enel X, the advanced energy services division of Enel Group, has put into operation two new charging stations for electric vehicles, one in Dumbrăvița, near Timișoara, and one in Banat’s capital, on 16 Decembrie 1989 Boulevard. Thus, the charging points network developed by the company in Romania has reached 38 units, most of which are currently located in Bucharest.

“Electric vehicles are the most dynamic segment of new vehicle sales in Romania, stimulated by the government program Rabla Plus as well, whose funds have been recently supplemented. We want to support the Romanians who are stepping up the transition to electric mobility by installing an increasing number of charging stations for electric vehicles in Romania. We thus contribute to improving access to electric charging infrastructure, in line with our commitment to facilitate transportation anywhere in the country, in a cleaner and more sustainable way”, said Mihai Mardale, Head of e-Mobility Enel X Romania.

The most recent charging stations launched by Enel X are of the JuicePole type and there is one near Timișoara, on Conac street in Dumbrăvița, on an intensely circulated artery, and the second one on 17, 16 Decembrie 1989 Boulevard. With a power of 2 x 22 kW each, the two stations allow the recharging of two electric vehicles simultaneously and the charging of up to 40% of the battery level in 30 minutes, depending on the car model and specifications.

The two recently installed charging stations increase the number of Enel X stations in Timiș County to three, the first of them, a JuicePump type, being located inside the Timișoara airport premises.
