Enel marks today the opening of its flagship store in Bucharest, the concept store of its national retail chain of over 80 shops. Located in a modern and easy to reach space at the ground-floor of the new Enel headquarters in downtown Bucharest, the shop offers a more personal and welcoming ambiance, an aspirational customer experience during the day, with a comfortable waiting area, advanced technology and innovative display solutions and also after working hours, when the kinetic lights and illuminated benches outside the shop offer passers by a unique meeting location, inspired from the Enel concept of Open Power.

The company has invested so far over 5 million euros in expanding its retail footprint, in order to meet the demands of the modern customer.

“We have built in the past two years, through Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia, one of the largest national networks of shops for any local supplier of energy, in order to be close to our customers, wherever they are in the country. The flag ship store that we are opening today, follows the same concept and design we have deployed all over the country, which provides easy and custom made to all our products and services, with a twist”, stated Michele Abbate, General Manager Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia.

The flagship store is both a modern and generous space for day to day customer care services and sales activities, but it also offers a fresh, modern and unique form of display – a lights show through a system of kinetic lights & a led mesh that serve both as a permanent display for brand elements, but also as an opportunity to gather people outside the shop. Moreover, as the night comes, the illuminated benches in front of the shop, and the show presented by the kinetic lights, make the shop the perfect meet up place, in the centre of the city.

The working hours of the new Enel store are Monday-Friday from 9:00 to 17:00. The new shop is located at the ground floor of Enel headquarters, and can be reached by Metro (Piata Unirii Station), bus (Mircea Voda station – 117, 313, 116, 784 or Biblioteca Nationala a Romaniei station – 123, 104, 124, 385, N104, N111, N109). The specialists in the shop will offer assistance regarding contracting, submitting of documentation and dedicated offers for electricity, gas and value added services for household and business customers. The shop has a special display for air conditioning, heating system and light bulbs, form the suppliers special offers.

The number of Enel and partner shops in Romania is around 80, with the company investing in the last three years over 5 million euros in shops modernization and/or relocation, in order to streamline processes and be closer to the customers. The concept of the new stores was developed by Stirixis, who designed a friendly, comfortable model of a store, encouraging conversation, through open spaces, ergonomic furniture and advanced technology implementation.

Recently, Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia, the leading energy suppliers on the Romanian electricity market, have reached the 2,000,000 household customers for electricity and gas milestone on the competitive market, doubling the number of customers on the free market in less than one year, and totalling a portfolio of over 3 million customers, both in regulated and free market.
