Distributie Energie Electrică Romania (DEER), the company from the Electrica group that resulted from the merger of the three distribution companies of the group, is waiting this month for bids for a large tender for the installation of intelligent electricity metering systems, according to e-nergia.ro.
“The acquisition of ‘Products and services necessary for the development of Intelligent Measurement Systems stage 2021-2023,’ is absolutely necessary in order to comply with the implementation schedule of smart meter… the specific equipment and services are needed: meters, data concentrators and auxiliary equipment; equipment integration services in the SMI meter management system,” wrote DEER in the tender notice posted in the electronic public procurement system.
The acquisition has an estimated value of 173 million lei and is the largest organized by Electrica, so far. In addition, after the merger of the three distribution companies, Muntenia Nord, Transilvania Sud and Transilvania Nord, it is the first centralized acquisition of smart meters for the entire distribution network.
The contract award criterion is the best price-quality ratio, where the price has a score of 70% in the evaluation of the offer, and the rest is related to technical characteristics. The duration of the contract implementation is three years, and DEER is waiting for the offers until April 12.
