Electrocentrale București, the Capital’s electricity and thermal energy producer, has launched in the Electronic Public Procurement System an announcement requesting the elaboration of a feasibility study for a new thermoelectric power station, in Bucharest, in the CET Sud premises. The new unit could have around 400 MW.

Elcen submitted the announcement on December 9 and awaits the offers until January 20, 2020 for the feasibility study “Implementation of a high-efficiency cogeneration unit within CTE Bucharest South”, according to e-nergia.ro

The estimated value of the study is 807,000 lei, and the financial component accounts for 40%, the rest being related to several technical and experience issues of those who offer to elaborate the study.
