Efficiency in the Energy Supply & Consumption, Energy Breakfast Club (February 11)

On Wednesday, February 11, from 9 A.M., at Godot Cafe in Bucharest, energynomics.ro proposes a new informal meeting for you to discuss with your colleagues and partners on some of the energy solutions available for increased energy efficiency and performance!

Niculae Havrileţ (TBC), president of the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) will attend the event as a special guest to expose his perspective on the 2015 prospects in this specific area.

Felix Căprariu, president of the Territorial Association for Energy and Energy Efficiency (ATE3) will introduce the audience into the application of legal regulations for energy efficiency in small and medium enterprises.

THEMES

Around 50 professionals in the energy sector will participate the event, so there will be present representatives of many companies active in the Romanina energy industry, experts from large construction and building management companies included.

There will be also be present representatives from profesional associations in the field, as well as high profile officials from the relevant regulatory agencies (NAMR, ANRE, Minister for Environment).

The National Energy Efficiency Action Plan introduces new terms and new guiding lines for the energy consumers in the non-household sector to build their efficiency improvement programs. Several types of activities are specified as required, such as the company’s energy situation assessment, testing and measuring the energy consumption levels, providing appropriate management for energy security.

  • Which are the companies that have all the required expertise in implementing these programs?
  • What are the „no cost / low cost” type of measures for consumption reduction in a sustainable manner?
  • Are there any best practices for working with ESCO companies?
  • What are the regular duties of energy managers?
  • What are their specific needs for the next period?

One of the novelties of 2015 is the new venue for our Energy Breakfast Club meetings. Godot Cafe Theatre, located at 14 Blănari Street, in downtown Bucharest, participates with its unique retro atmosphere, the scene and… “the best coffee in the Old Town”. We will meet every two months to discuss the news and forecasts for the energy industry in front of a steaming coffee.

As a host, energynomics.ro will provide – from 09.00 AM – the MC and the coffee, will propose the theme and will launch the invitations for the speakers. They are selected accordingly with their best knowledge of the topic and are responsible for organizing ideas and stimulating intellectual challenges. Presentations will not exceed 45 minutes and are intended to be starting points for a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives.

The club closes at 12.
