E.ON supports once more, as an exclusive presenter, the Berlin Festival of Lights, an event that will take place from October 11 to 20 and is expected by millions of visitors from all over the world. Artists will turn certain locations in Berlin into living works of art, with the help of multidimensional video technology.

As part of the E.ON initiative, the Rome Hotel in Bebelplatz will be a major attraction of the festival. To mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, E.ON has launched an international street art challenge on the theme “Release your energy”. Renowned artists from all fourteen European countries in which the German group is present will participate. Their works will come to life, being designed directly on the front of the hotel.

Romania is represented by Obie Plato, a street artist who has participated in exhibitions, international festivals and mural art projects in Hamburg, Shanghai, Budapest, Azores, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. He also collaborated with Roger Waters, one of the founders of Pink Floyd, for 2013 The Wall tour in Bucharest.
