E.ON has offered energy efficiency classes to undergrads from Moldova

Teams of volunteers from E.ON Romania held lessons on energy efficiency in the “Energy Economy” campaign, initiated by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), in three schools in Iasi and Vaslui counties. The project that aims to stimulate the interest of the little ones to improve the quality of life, by applying simple and accessible energy saving solutions, the company announced.

Thus, the students of secondary schools in the counties of Vaslui and Iasi learned, in interactive lessons, about the importance of saving resources, but also about the measures they can take for this purpose.

This year, the Energy Economy campaign is being carried out in 30 rural and urban educational units in nine counties covering all the development regions in the country. Last year, ANRE was a partner of the European Commission in carrying out the Awareness Campaign on the efficient use of energy in homes, in order to help home consumers reduce their energy bills by applying simple, cost-free or investment tips. Taking into account the interest shown for this campaign, ANRE obtained the agreement of the European Commission – DG JUST to extend its implementation in Romania.
