Changes in Electrica management: end of term for A. Borislavschi, D. Meșca – new GM for Electrica Furnizare

Former Secretary of State Darius Meșca took over the management of Electrica Furnizare

Darius Dumitru Meșca is the new General Manager of Electrica Furnizare, a company of the Electrica group. Mircea Pătrășcoiu remains Deputy General Manager, according to the information published on the company website.

Graduate of the University of Petroleum-Gas Gas Ploiesti, Doctor Engineer, Meșca was, between 2005-2009, Secretary of State responsible for the coordination of the National Energy Sector. He took over the management of FDEE Electrica Distribuție Muntenia Nord SA, for a term successfully completed after 4 years, according to the CV published on the website Electrica Furnizare, quoted by investenergy.ro.

Since March 2017 he has joined the Electrica Furnizare team, and since February 2019 has held the position of Deputy General Manager. He also coordinated the commercial operations activity of SFEE Muntenia Nord branch. From 2013 until now he is a member of the Board of Directors of S.C. Conpet S.A., the main oil carrier in Romania.

Alexandra Borislavschi has completed her mandate within Electrica

Alexandra Borislavschi has completed on August 2nd, 2019 the 4-year mandate as Chief Corporate Governance and M&A Officer of Electrica. From August 2015, Alexandra Borislavschi coordinated the Strategy and Corporate Governance Division, as Executive Director, and as of May 1st, 2017, has held the position of Chief Corporate Governance and M&A Officer.

Alexandra joined Electrica’s team in June 2013, as Deputy Manager of the Economic and Corporate Business Division, and since February 2014 she held the position of Manager of the Corporate Finance and Governance Division.

The most important project she managed was the initial public offering of 105% of the share capital, between October 2013 – July 2014, which was successfully completed through the double listing of Electrica on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and on the London Stock Exchange, being the largest public offering in Romania until this day.
