Adrian Volintiru revoked from the helms of Romgaz

Romgaz Board of Directors revoked Adrian Volintiru from position of Chief Executive Officer, announced the company on the BSE website. Until the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, the management of Romgaz shall be exercised by Daniel Pena, currently Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Previously adviser to the cabinet of the minister for Economy, Energy and Business Environment, Daniel Pena came to Romgaz relatively recently. In 2019, he left the position of director of the oil and oil products trading department of OMV Petrom, a company which he had worked for since 1998.
